Posit Inc

Assembly programs are the backbone of our organization. They are the catalyst our clients use to take action on a particular issue within their student body. Our assemblies are the most socially penetrating programs that you find on the market.

We are able to pinpoint the issues that most affect the students by using a questionaire that Posit, Inc. has developed to determine the school's most pressing needs. Please see the Key Issues section for some of the most common issues facing students. Once the questionaire is administered, we discuss with the client which of their top three issues they think is the most important.

Our assembly programs last between forty-five minutes to one hour and is performed by Posit, Inc.'s knowledgeable motivational speakers. To insure a quality program for students, faculty, and family, each speaker is provided with detailed outlines on his topics well before the assembly. This assists the speaker in his own research and helps to structure the speach. Our staff has an extensive background in researching and developing the information that is given to the speakers. Posit, Inc. researchers are overseen by an Ivy League Doctorate student that makes certain these topics are researched and correct to the highest and most up-to-date degree. Additionally, we are always seeking advice and building relationships with notable non-profit agencies on each topic we cover.

While an assembly can be customized to suit any specific need, the assembly is typically broken into 4-5 different sections:

Schools may choose to begin the assembly with a pre-assembly quiz. This quiz can help to immediately engage students as well as provide the presenter with useful information on where the students currently stand with the issue.

  • Initially, an interactive speech lasts between twenty to twenty-five minutes, where the student body is asked to participate in small skits and/or asked to answer questions on the topic, using the information the students are given by the speaker.
  • Following the speech, the speaker offers an opportunity for the students to ask them questions. Although some of the questions are more about the speaker's personal life, the students often ask very intriguing questions on the topic. They have been interested by the program, and they seek help finding the answers they need to handle situations they have been struggling with in their own personal lives.
  • Although it is optional, after the question and answer session, we encourage our clients to allow the student body the opportunity to meet the speaker individually, to shake their hand and get an autograph. This one-on-one interaction helps drive the message home of personal responsibility. As a way to encourage the students to hold onto the information portion of the Challenge Card, the speaker will normally sign that piece.
  • Finally, as a way for our clients to measure the effectiveness of the assembly, we offer the schools optional post-assembly quizzes to evaluate how much the students learned from the assembly.
